vibe coding, 52M series b’s…and more
got untapped potential? love building? you’re in the right place📍
👋 Hi Folks!
This is Jordan - previously of gamejobs.gg, now rebranded to Job Hunting Sucks. We can agree it really does suck, right?
We’re rebranding because the focus of this newsletter is expanding - we’re excited to include jobs & employers across broader tech & media.
Here’s our weekly roundup of hot jobs in tech and beyond.
It’ll be a 5-minute read worth every second: our past readers have walked away with offers!
And, if that doesn’t work out, we’ve included job search tips and free resources at the end, just to make sure there’s still a value-add.
Spotlight: Graphite.dev (12 roles open!)
Graphite is an AI-driven developer productivity platform that enhances code review on GitHub. They recently closed a $52M Series B and are trusted by 100,000+ devs at Asana, Ramp, and more.
Graphite’s mission, in the words of Accel backer Christine Esserman, is to become the “canonical layer where humans and agents collaborate on code.” And they’re well on their way: Graphite recently rolled out Linear and Vercel integrations.
The culture? CTO Greg Foster wants the team to have real fun. In the early days, they would hide memes in their product or prank each other with bugs. Now, Graphite is a place where everyone “works in pencil,” refining ideas with empathy, precision, and open-mindedness.
They’re filling roles across engineering, AE, CX, product marketing, etc. You can learn more and apply here.

Job Search Tips
1️⃣ Practice mock interviews with ChatGPT.
Use the prompt “I’m a [professional status] interviewing for [role] at [company]. Pretend you’re a recruiter at this company, and conduct a [type of interview]. Provide me in-depth feedback at the end after I say the keywords “end interview.” (Credits to Michael Yan on this one!)
2️⃣ Make sure your resume is ATS-friendly.
Well-designed resumes are useful in some cases, like certain design roles, but your effort might go to waste if an ATS is reading your resume before a human. Harvard University compiled a list of strong action verbs and formatting guidelines that you can use for free.

I am rich and have no idea what to do my life by Vinay Hiremath, exited founder of Loom. This blog post went viral when it came out two months ago. It’s good food for thought that makes you ask what comes after building.
